CESTARO ROSSI began in Bari in 1921 as "Cestaro e Rossi & c. s.n.c, Liguro-Lombarde mechanical workshops.", and were pioneers, with the typical pioneering spirit, of those operating in the dawning industrial field at the time. The first jobs were the installation and maintenance of large diesel engines necessary for the production of electrical power and the production of machines for the oil, wine and plasticization industries.
During the post-war period came the turning point: The company became a Public Limited Company in 1952, turning its business to the field of industrial petroleum, chemical, petrochemical, iron and steel plant design and power stations. The important results achieved, combined with a far-sighted management and the entrepreneurial spirit of Ruggero Dalla Serra, determined the foundation of a new top-grade highly specialized company in the hydraulic-water supply sector: ALFA COSTRUZIONI s.r.l. was established in 1981, and today is mergered with Cierre Costruzioni e Impianti S.r.l.
Almost a century from its establishment in 1999, the group, insisting upon offering an ever improving service to the client, acquired Impiantistica Traversa s.r.l., a company specializing in the electro-instrumental sector. The old pioneering spirit, the many years’ experience acquired as well as young and ambitious management are today the force of a group which has become a leader in the field of the maintenance and construction of industrial installations
